1. Overview
MuslimX ("the App") is published by ATOMIC Limited. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App collects, how it is used, and your rights. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information with respect.
2. Data We Collect
Location data — The App requests your device location (when in use only) to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. Location data is processed on-device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Account data (optional) — If you create an account, we store your name, email address, and a hashed password. Account creation is fully optional; all core features work without an account.
Sync data (optional) — If you sign in, the App may sync your streak, bookmarks, tasbeeh count, and preferences to our servers so you can restore them on a new device.
Device motion data — Used only by the Qibla compass to rotate the needle. Motion data is never recorded or transmitted.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- No advertising identifiers
- No analytics or tracking SDKs
- No crash reporting sent to third parties
- No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties
- No background location tracking
4. Third-Party Services
Google Maps / Places API — Used for the Nearest Masjid feature. Queries are sent to Google only when you use that feature. Google's Privacy Policy applies.
AI Reflection feature — When you use the AI chat feature, your message is sent to our own secure server. Conversations are not stored permanently.
5. Data Retention
If you delete your account, all associated data (name, email, sync data) is permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days. Local data stored on your device can be cleared by uninstalling the App.
6. Children
MuslimX is suitable for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at info@atomic.limited.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@atomic.limited.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
